Residential program for students with intellectual disabilities
January 4, 2016
The Center for Disabilities Studies was awarded funding by UD’s Professional and Continuing Studies to support a summer program for high school students with intellectual disabilities. As an extension of the Career and Life Studies Certificate (CLSC) program, this a one-week residential program will help students set goals, explore career options and sample life on a college campus.
CLSC is UD’s two-year college certificate program for students with intellectual disabilities. Funding for the residential component was provided through the PCS’ Innovative Program Development Fund.
