Motivation and Learning in STEM and Technology Contexts
Ongoing studies at UD, at local elementary schools, and in the community.
Our lab is a collaborative space where faculty, postdocs, graduate, and undergraduate students work together to answer questions like, “What method of math instruction best supports student belonging?,” “How do students regulate their learning when they work online?,” “How can new technologies (like ChatGPT) enhance teaching and learning?”
There are a number of projects each semester answering these and related questions in learning environments from preschool through university.
Undergraduate RAs (paid, work study, for credit, or volunteer) are integral members of the research team and help design and carry out research procedures; collect, organize, and analyze data; and participate in writing scholarly presentations and papers. Senior RAs with multiple semesters in the lab have access to lab data and resources to carry out senior theses or summer projects.
