Myae Han Recognized by the National Association for the Education of Young Children

Myae Han, Professor at the Department of Human Development and Family Sciences, recently received the Edgar Klugman Award for Lifetime Contribution of Research and Leadership in the Field of Play and Early Childhood Education from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC)’s Play, Policy, and Practice Forum. Dr. Han is passionate about promoting play in early childhood education. She has devoted her research connecting play with children’s language and literacy learning. Dr, Han served as the past president of The Association for the Study of Play (TASP). She is currently a chair of Early Education/Child Development SIG at the American Educational Research Association (AERA).
