Prior to coming to the University of Delaware, Ji-Young obtained an M.S. degree in Statistics from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and a B.S. degree in Statistics from Sookmyung Women’s University in South Korea. At University of Delaware, she is a research assistant at the Center for Training, Evaluation & Community Collaboration (CTECC). She has also worked with the Korea Employment Information Service as a research programmer for three years. Her research interests center on the innovative use of statistical techniques to address educational policy issues such as gender and socioeconomic inequality in education, and the effect of youth substance abuse on education.
