Beth Mineo

Associate Professor

Beth Mineo is Center Director of the Center for Disabilities Studies and Associate Professor in the School of Education. As director of UD's Center for Disabilities Studies, Mineo works to enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities and their families. Her research focuses on autism and other communication disorders, particularly language disorders. She also has expertise in assistive technology, devices used by individuals with disabilities ranging from canes to computer hardware and software.  She has served as editor-in-chief of the journal, Assistive Technology. Prior to entering academia, Mineo was a practicing clinician in the field of speech pathology.
